In your role as International Forwarder you will have to ensure continuous way of transportation, providing transport and forwarding services. Main responsibilities include: 

  • ​Utilize transport capabilities of external haulers’ and company’s fleet to fulfil orders from clients
  • Prepare shipment files in accordance with clients’ shipment specification, plans the shipments
  • Prepare transport orders and sends them directly to subcontractors
  • Supervise over the completeness of all necessary transportation documents
  • Organize backloads for our fleet during and after fulfilling the order
  • Negotiate shipments purchase and sales conditions (prepares and sends orders) with other forwarding companies in terms of prices and deadlines
  • Prepare calculations about backload’s profitability
  • Verify new clients’ and charters’ credibility
  • Cooperates with debt collection department in terms of collecting debts from clients (other forwarding companies)
  • Prepare transportation documents in accordance with binding law and passes to carries
  • Offer support in resolving invoicing issues
  • Maintain forwarding shipment records in the Lovos system
  • Follow up on shipments you either sold or purchased
  • Verify and update OCP policy

We have the job! Do you have the skills?

  • Completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in the field of Transport/Logistics
  • Experience in a similar job is preferred
  • Preferably knowledge of the European road network, routes and driving times, customs legislation and associated processes
  • Strong communication skills in English and preferably German or French
  • Experience with transport management systems (TMS) and strong abilities in Microsoft Office.
