We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Freight Forwarder to join our team. In this role, you will ensure a smooth and efficient transport flow by coordinating transport orders, optimizing processes, maintaining customer relationships and aligning profitable margins.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the efficient execution of transport orders in collaboration with relevant stakeholders;
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of transport documents and dispatch of transport orders to Freight Forwarders;
Optimize loading and unloading routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs;
Maintain, strengthen, and expand relationships , ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction;
Negotiate rates and prepare competitive quotations to offer suitable transport proposals to both existing and new customers;
Initiate and implement process improvements based on evaluations and performance results;
Identify operational bottlenecks in transport and forwarding activities and develop appropriate solutions.
EDUCATION: Secondary education;︆︈︅︂︆︌︉︁︂︆︄︅︁︁︎︌︈︂︇︍︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years in a similar role;LANGUAGES: Good command in English COMPUTER SKILLS: Intermediate MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).KNOWLEDGE OF: -Logistics and transport processes and Forwarding’s business specifics;-Freight exchanges and forwarding programs;-Forwarding documents and relevant laws;
-Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, skilled in maintaining a commercially relevant network;-Strong negotiating skills – Able to negotiate assertively when required;-Insight into commercial opportunities.
