The flexibility of the work goes both ways and everything is neatly recorded in an employment contract.As a Distribution Driver CE at Vos Logistics, you have an independent and responsible role within Vos Logistics Benelux Distribution, a specialist in fine-meshed distribution, cross-docking, and warehousing. You are responsible for the correct execution of varied transport assignments and transport goods within the set deadlines and in accordance with instructions. Safety, quality, and service are always central. From our location in Woerden, Alphen aan de Rijn, or Strijen, you depart daily between 05:00 and 08:00 for distribution trips throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, or Luxembourg. You deliver pallets or roll containers to, among others, shops, garden centers, and DIY stores. Before departure, you check the transport assignment, necessary documents, and your vehicle. You assess the route for traffic jams or construction work and communicate with planners or Customer Service in case of delays. Usually, you return to the location between 16:00 and 18:00, so overnight stays are not necessary and you can combine work and private life well.You are responsible for the safe driving of the truck on various types of roads. You have technical knowledge of the vehicle and work in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and safety regulations regarding loading, securing, and unloading of goods. You use aids such as an EPT and tail lift if necessary. You report deviations in goods or equipment and ensure correct documentation before, during, and after the trip.You maintain external contacts at loading and unloading addresses and have internal contact with, among others, planners, driver coordinators, the Fleet Manager, and Customer Service about the progress of your activities. You are proficient in the use of an onboard computer and other communication tools and ensure the correct processing of data.For this position, you have at least a driving license C or CE with a valid code 95 and have knowledge of transport procedures and relevant laws and regulations.
