As a road freight forwarder, you will have a varied job and, together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the logistics service of the assigned customer base for full truckloads.
By optimally utilizing carriers and means of transport, consolidating transport orders, and striving for optimal load capacity, you aim to achieve the highest possible profit. This keeps you in constant contact with (contract) carriers, partners, and customers.
You monitor and evaluate external carriers and partners in terms of their task performance and ensure the entire logistics process: from submitting a request for an order to administrative handling. You assess the possibility of accepting cargo, coordinate purchase and sales prices, and monitor the reliability of carriers.
Your duties also include handling freight and customs documents and searching for new transport partners, with an emphasis on customer service and high-quality cooperation with our partners.
