Whether you call it an LZV, ecocombi, or super truck, driving a 25-meter-long and 60-ton heavy truck combination remains an impressive challenge. And because you drive at night, you hardly encounter traffic jams and can efficiently make your trips. Ideal if you enjoy working independently and appreciate peace on the road.
For our location in Strijen, we are looking for an HGV Night Driver for a fixed round trip from Strijen to Arnhem and back. You start between 19:30 and 23:00 and finish between 04:00 and 07:00, depending on your departure time. It is a fixed route, so you know exactly what to expect.As an HGV Night Driver, you have an independent and responsible role. You depart from Strijen with a loaded combination towards Arnhem. The truck is loaded and unloaded on site by the distribution center. You are responsible for correctly coupling, safely maneuvering – especially reversing to the dock – and carefully transporting the cargo. On the return trip, you assist in loading the packaging. Unloading, loading, coupling, and moving on: clear work with a fixed rhythm.Your workweek starts on Monday evening and ends on Saturday morning, or you drive from Sunday evening until Friday morning. The advantage of night trips is that after your rest period during the day, you have time for your family, hobbies, or other activities.You will be driving a modern and well-maintained HGV (category A or B), equipped with a comfortable cabin for your rest periods. At night, someone from Vos Logistics is always available at the DC. Are you that experienced driver who loves fixed routes, independence, and precise maneuvering with large equipment?
