As a Project Manager, you are active within the Solutions division, where you realize projects in the field of International Freight Management, Benelux Distribution, and Warehousing. You work on various implementations, process optimizations, and client projects, thereby making a significant contribution to the further growth and optimization of our services. In addition, you have an affinity with IT and experience with logistics systems such as TMS (Transport Management Systems), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and EDI connections. You operate within the frameworks of the organization and are responsible for the successful realization of projects, without hierarchically leading. You report to your supervisor and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
You are closely involved in developing and realizing business cases that form the basis for successful projects. In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, you ensure a clear delineation of the scope and carefully map out risks, which you then translate into effective control measures. Subsequently, you set up a phased approach and ensure that the project is professionally managed in all areas. During execution, you continuously monitor progress and quality and actively intervene when bottlenecks or risks arise. In addition, you are responsible for coordinating various processes, such as implementations, changes, and tenders. You ensure transparent reporting and maintain a constant overview of planning and execution. Achieving project objectives, both in terms of content and process, is central to this. After completing projects, you ensure a careful evaluation and transfer knowledge in a structured manner, so that the organization can continue to learn and improve. An important part of your role is effectively managing stakeholders. You know how to identify and analyze relevant stakeholders - both internal and external - and you understand how to create support and commitment. By communicating openly and transparently about progress, risks, and any changes, you build trust and keep all involved parties connected. In doing so, you stimulate collaboration within project teams and serve as a reliable and accessible point of contact. In this role, you have a lot of contact with internal project members to exchange information and achieve alignment on activities. Additionally, you maintain close contact with clients and suppliers, building sustainable relationships and pursuing joint objectives.
