Are you customer-oriented and do you have an affinity with transport and logistics? As a Customer Service Representative, you are the permanent contact person for one or more customers and actively contribute to strengthening the customer relationship. You perform your daily tasks independently and ensure that agreements and processes are correctly followed.
You have knowledge of transport and logistics processes, relevant laws and regulations, and transport and border documents. Additionally, you work with a Transport Management System and are skilled in data processing. Thanks to your insight into transport options, delivery times, and rates, you can effectively inform and advise customers.You make agreements with customers based on standards, for example, during operational performance discussions, and align these internally. You secure agreements in the applicable Standard Operating Procedures, independently monitor progress, and guide the processing of relevant data. You discuss non-standard matters with your supervisor.You maintain external customer contacts primarily in Dutch and English, exchange information, and handle inquiries independently. Internally, you collaborate with colleagues to ensure customer agreements run smoothly, even when interests differ. Additionally, you prepare reports and professionally resolve standard complaints and bottlenecks.In addition to external customer contact, you also have frequent contact with colleagues from various departments, you are a hub. With your accuracy, communication skills, and service-oriented attitude, you contribute to efficient service delivery and high customer satisfaction among a diverse customer base.
