Responsibilities:As a Forwarding Team Assistant, you will support our Romanian and Netherlands forwarding operations with various tasks in order to improve internal processes, ensuring smooth transport planning and communication with clients and charters. Your key responsibilities include:-Daily follow-up of transport orders for both the NL and Romanian forwarding teams-Accurate data entry of transport times, dates, and other key info into the system-Maintain communication with charters and clients (plates, delivery details, timing, etc.)-Upload and send Proof of Deliveries (PODs) to clients and via online portals when needed-Introducing transport orders in the system-Creating charters / Debtors-Process transport orders across various countries (SE, IT, DE, ES, AT, RO, BE)-Provide backup support for the invoicing team-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, institutions and companies
-Secondary education-2–5 years of relevant experience in a similar position-Good command of English (minimum B2 level – writing, speaking, understanding)-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook – intermediate level)Specific Skills & Knowledge:-Understanding of freight forwarding operations and documentation-Knowledge of freight exchanges and forwarding programs-Knowledge of transport documents and related legal frameworks
