Customer Service Medewerker

As a Customer Service Representative, you act as the fixed contact point for one or more customers and play an important role in strengthening and developing the customer relationship. You ensure that daily operations run smoothly, maintain an overview, and think proactively with both customers and internal departments. No day is the same, and it is precisely this variety that gives you energy.

In this role, you work independently and are responsible for correctly adhering to agreements, processes, and procedures. You have daily contact with customers and colleagues, advising on transport options, delivery times, and rates. In addition, you process and guide transport orders and associated data and ensure the correct handling of self-billing. You monitor agreements made and timely signal deviations or bottlenecks in the process.

You also prepare reports and analyze them to identify areas for improvement. You are able to professionally resolve questions and complaints and actively think along about structural improvements. You proactively maintain contact with customers to evaluate cooperation, identify opportunities, and implement improvements. When volumes change or operational challenges arise, you switch in a timely manner and provide appropriate solutions. In doing so, you work closely with various internal departments to ensure optimal service.

For this position, you preferably have experience with a Transport Management System (TMS) and administrative data processing, or you are motivated to quickly master this. In addition, you have knowledge of transport and logistics processes, relevant laws and regulations, and transport and border documents, or you are willing to further develop in this area.
